Agatha Christie is the world's best-selling author of mystery novels. This presentation will cover Agatha's life and her career development. Ms. Christie worked as a pharmacy assistant in British hospitals during World Wars I and II. She learned drug knowledge that she then incorporated into many of her stories. This talk will cover many of the drugs she used and will emphasize those used for murder.
Bio: North Carolina native Flynn Warren attended Belmont Abbey College and the Universities of South Carolina and Georgia. Flynn was on the faculty of the UGA College of Pharmacy from 1967 to 1977 and 1985 to 2007. He retired as Clinical Professor and Assistant Dean. From 1977 to 1985 he was Head of Pharmacy at the King Faisal Specialist Hospital in Saudi Arabia. Flynn is a former President of the Georgia Pharmacy Association.
