3055 - Practical Artificial Intelligence with Power BI
Course Description
This course is part of the applied, hands-on training program in data science at Emory Continuing Education. The course introduces students to Artificial Intelligence using out-of-the-box AI features embedded in Power BI. Students will be introduced to AI and how to leverage the Power BI’s AI features to build and deploy AI applications. Using Power BI applications, the course presents and guides the students in a hands-on setting to the practice of data engineering, including data exploration, cleansing, and data preparation. The Curated data is then used with the AI features of Power BI to build AI applications for tasks such as forecasting, anomaly detection, AI-based dialogue, text analysis, and computer vision. By the end of the course, the students will be able to create and deploy practical AutoML models trained in Azure ML. This course will also build a solid foundation for a follow-on course for those interested in pursuing more advanced AI topics and building AI applications using Azure Cognitive Services and generative AI with ChatGPT and Open AI models.
