Course Description

With beautiful views, mild Mediterranean climate, fertile fields, monumental architecture and engrossing culture who would not want ton live in Pompeii. The jewel in the Roman crown. After August 24, 79 AD Pompeii, a multi-ethnic port city would no longer exist.

Using numerous videos you will explore Pompeii at its height. Attention will be given to its villas adorned with penetrating frescos. Then follow 300 years of plunder and excavation of one of the world's best preserved ancient site.

Please note, in-classroom section includes Pizza Lunch.
