Health care is often one-size-fits-all but imagine a future where health care could be tailored to each person. The All of Us Research Program at Emory, backed by the NIH, is helping create the largest health database of its kind, allowing researchers to readily conduct thousands of studies on health and disease to speed up health research and medical breakthroughs. SPEAKER BIO
Dr. Ted Johnson is the Chair of the Emory Family and Preventive Medicine Department and Paul W. Seavey Chair and Chief of the Emory General Internal Medicine Division. He received his MD from Northwestern and his MPH from the UNC- Chapel Hill. Following training in Internal Medicine, he completed two years of additional training in Geriatric Medicine. He earned recognition as a Fellow of the American Geriatrics Society.
Dr. Johnson’s work in geriatrics for the past 25 years has focused on older adults in general, and specifically on interventions that reduce potential harm and improve quality of life and well-being in those with chronic conditions.
