Course Description
Instructor: Ari Sollish
This class will be conducted at: 5065 High Point Road, 30342
We all have moments when we are faced with tough ethical decisions and need to pick a course of action that will let us live with ourselves. Traditionally, Jews have looked to the Talmud to help them unravel tangled instincts. The Talmud recognizes that ethics is complex and subtle, and knows that complicated questions cannot be answered with a simple yes or no. The Talmud offers perspectives to help us make sense of life's most wrenching dilemmas. This course tackles ethical issues such as the right to live, the right to die, freedom of expression, and intellectual property. Discover how Judaism offers a moral compass to help us find direction through the labyrinth of life.
