We’ll take a thorough look at the Constitution and the Supreme Court, from the founders’ original intent, various historical/ evolutionary phases, political influences, and the controversial role of both the document and the Court on contemporary America. Bio: Don Cockrill is a retired lawyer who, before moving to Atlanta recently, taught history courses in the Furman University OLLI program in Greenville, S.C. for 7 years. He is interested in all phases of American history with an emphasis on the Founding generation,the Revolutionary War, and constitutional law.
