Course Description
Instructor: Denise Raynor
Bass Reeves, the first Black US Deputy Marshal west of the Mississippi, was the most effective US marshal and possibly lawman in history. Cunning and inventive, Bass used his skin color as much as his wits to outsmart law breakers. He never lost his man. Bass Reeves created his legend in his own time. Could he have been the model for the Lone Ranger?
