Announcing OLLI’s June event — Face-to-face in the open air

It’s been a while since we’ve seen each other on anything other than Zoom.  So, OLLI is putting together an event where we can shop, nosh and stroll — in person.  Join us on August 28 at 8:30 a.m. at The Carter Center Farmers Market to meet old friends and make new ones.

Hang with OLLI’s Annie Nichols and other OLLI Members, at The Proof Bakery where you’ll hear a brief history of the Market and get a brief on the vendors awaiting you. Then, like butterflies, you are free to shop, eat and socialize. There is lots of parking, but don’t expect chairs to rest in.  This is an active, walking event.
