OLLI Winery Day Trip, Sept 27, 2019

9:30 am – 4:30 pm

Visit Dahlonega, Ga Wineries with our OLLI Certified Wine Specialist, Dr. Herb Spasser

Itinerary: Leave OLLI Location at 9:30am via Charter Bus (Small Group of 24) travel to Dahlonega, Ga., 1st stop, Montaluce Winery and Restaurant, where we will learn and see how they produce their wine. We will have a wine tasting of four of their wines, with explanation of each, during our tasting you can snack on a few small appetizers. After the tasting we will have lunch with your choice of:

• Seasonal Salad with Grilled Chicken
o Chef’s choice of cheese, heirloom tomatoes, house croutes, house vinaigrette, and grilled chicken

Or
• Chef’s Delight
o Havarti grilled cheese sandwich, house made truffle honey, Tuscan tomato soup

After lunch, take a few minutes and make any purchases you wish. We will board our bus again and travel to Cavender Creek Vineyards. We will enjoy another wine tasting, take some time to see the winery, make purchases if you wish and board the bus afterwards to travel back to our origination of OLLI at Emory.
