Course Description

Join OLLI members as they tour the vineyards and sample the wines of Dahlonega, Georgia. The group will visit the popular Wolf Mountain and Three Sisters Vineyards. The trip includes transportation, a tour of one vineyard, tastings at both wineries, and lunch.

Dr. Herbert Spasser will lead the tour. Dr. Spasser is a retired dentist and former clinical professor of Endodontics at New York University College of Dentistry now living in Atlanta. He has traveled and visited most of the wine regions of the world. He is a Certified Wine Educator, member of the Society of Wine Educators, a Grand Commandeur of the Chaine Des Rotisseurs, and was Wine Advisor to the Restaurant Society of New York. He is a wine judge, lecturer, and writer, and has been teaching wine courses in New York, New Jersey, and Atlanta annually since 1976.
