Forget the pandemic and join fellow OLLI members at a FREE Wednesday matinee performance of the beloved Rodgers & Hammerstein musical Carousel.

At 2:00 p.m. on August 19 we'll settle in our seats for a virtual performance of the show from Lincoln Center. We'll watch the New York Philharmonic's stunning staged production of this iconic American work with a star-studded cast including Kelli O’Hara, Nathan Gunn, Stephanie Blythe, Shuler Hensley, John Cullum and New York City Ballet dancers. Come, enjoy the trials and tribulations of Billy Bigelow and Julie Jordan with such classic songs as “If I Loved You�, “June is Bustin’ Out All Over�, and the unforgettable “You’ll Never Walk Alone�.

After we watch the show together on Zoom, for those interested there will be a recap/discussion of the performance led by Michael McDavid and Bill Allen.

Presentation of Carousel is free. Lecture is free to members and $50 non-members.
