When the human experience transitioned from hunter/gatherers to agriculturalist/pastoralists, a new human experience emerged, excess, wealth, power and greed. Should government be dedicated to greed or the common good? Racial, ethnic, gender and religious differences have been used as tools for division. Is it time for confronting those flaming divisiveness? Public Relations initiatives by wealthy sources have created alternative reality. Does it work? Healthy societies require a common core of values. Are America’s values best expressed as stockholder wealth or ideas of brotherhood? This class examines the roots of these issues.
