Course Description

(5 sessions: Jan 9-16, Feb 6-13, and Feb 27)
In 1991, Congress resolved that “the moral fabric of our great nation is founded on the Seven Laws of Noah� (H resolution 104 public law 102-14, signed by President George Bush 3-26-91). It behooves every American to be familiar with these laws: (I)Idolatry; (II)Adultery; (III)Bloodshed; (IV)Theft; (V)Justice; (VI)Blasphemy (VII)Prohibition to consume blood and a limb torn from a living animal. Students will engage in a unique learning approach developed by the instructor: following the narrative of the Book of Genesis while deriving the Commandments one by one. Part 1 introduces the student to the Commandments, their specific order, and the notion of idolatry as established by the miraculous first chapter of Genesis.

Zvi has been teaching the Seven Commandments of Noah to live audiences on the Virtual Yeshiva of Noahide Nations for the last 10 years.
