Follow the often tempestuous and nearly always fruitful entanglements of famous celebrities, scientists like William and Caroline Herschel, poets like Robert Lowell and Elizabeth Hardwick, Ted Hughes and Sylvia Plath, writers like Dashiel Hammett and Lillian Hellman, artists like Freda Kahlo and Diego Rivera, Lee Krasner and Jackson Pollock, or historical figures like John and Abigail Adams. The mutually supporting roles: muse and enthusiast, lover and complementary soul-mate, the myriad interactions are the legend.

The course will delve into the relationships, the hardships and the glory. Be prepared to become enthralled, and beguiled.
