Instructor: Lisa GuytonThis course will cover the European art from the late 19th to the early 20th century encompassing major art styles such as cubism, fauvism,blue rider, dada and expressionism. This period, that has been called the belle epoque (Europe) and the gilded age (in the U.S.) defined modern art and affected art trends for decades. The 1913 Armory Show in New York exposed these trends to American artists and the art public.
