This course describes the four hazards of aging in place in your home. Everyone wants to stay in their home with their “stuff�. But the hazards of doing so are consequential. This course will describe the hazards, as well as discussing the house sale, downsizing and moving to a senior residence…..even during a pandemic. We’ll discuss “senior-accessorizing� your home; care-givers and home-helpers; and the speaker will relate stories of multiple friends and family and their experiences of waiting too long and the consequences. How does it impact the family? We’ll talk about affordability of senior living, “living with strangers� and when is the right time to make a move……and when is the wrong time? Brandt and his wife moved 6 years ago…….3 years too early….we’ll talk about what that means.
