Course Description

Instructor: Virginia Milner

Starts: Wednesday, October 6,  4 weeks

Time: 1:15-3PM     Cost: $90 Includes Supplies

These classes not only teach the basics of jewelry making, but also give students a glimpse of different cultures as they journey -- from the comfort of their chairs – all over the world from the North American Southwest to parts of Asia, Africa, South America, and Europe to reimagine and create new pieces by transforming beads and components into something that is uniquely theirs. Each piece will include authentic beads and/or designs indicative of the featured continent or country. Participants will learn useful techniques for other classes and/or to continue to use on your own. This class is designed for both absolute beginners and students with limited knowledge and skills. Class Max 10

Course will be taught via Zoom and recorded.  Students will be able to view the recording to help with the jewelry making process, after class.

Supplies: Each student will need to have their own basic tools- round nose and chain nose pliers and cutters, however they will be provided with a bead design board to keep and a kit with all of the beads and components needed to complete their designs. Each week supplies will be packaged separately when picking up.
