Course Description

Instructor: Bob Castellani, JD

This class is the first of a two semester exploration of our law. We will explore the basics of contract law, property law and tort law. Our review will include the elements of a contract, how property law developed in our common law tradition and how tort law is organized. We will also discuss the structure of our court system and include the areas of domestic relations, wills and estates, and civil procedure. Each session will include times for discussion and class questions on how to apply what we learn to our lives. In addition to substantial teaching experience, Bob is a 50-year member of Georgia Bar and a former Superior Court Judge of Dekalb Court.
