We can’t travel overseas yet, so here’s the next best thing: Take a Virtual Tour of Southern Italy! Four week course where the first two meetings will take us to many sights in Puglia, including a rare visit to a Second Punic War battlefield! The next meetings will take us to the neighboring Basilicata region, and finally west to Herculaneum and then to Agrigento, Sicily. We will explore various towns and attractions, with a mixture of history, local customs, and attractions. This is primarily a PowerPoint presentation class but discussion and questions are encouraged. Tutti a Zoom per visitare il Sud Italia!
