Course Description

Instructor: Allan Hing, MA

The class will update and expand topics presented in the past such as the Value of Good Design, the present such as a 100th anniversary of the Bauhaus and introduce new topics such as Kenzo Kuma –architect of the Tokyo 2020 Stadium and Expo 2020.“humanism.� We will read texts by the artist and by literary mentors such as the Surrealist leader Andre Breton and the Existentialist Jean-Paul Sartre that illuminate Giacometti’s art.
