Course Description

This course is required to complete the Paralegal Certificate and is offered multiple times throughout the year. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis.

This course will provide an introduction to basic contract law, including the Uniform Commercial Code. Specifically, the course will provide an introduction to the requirements for an enforceable contract, contract performance and remedies available upon the breach of a contract. Emphasis will be placed on practical drafting and analysis. Completion of this course is required to obtain the Paralegal Certificate.
