Course Description
Instructor: Deborah Butler
We are all creative. We begin with this fundamental truth. We will call on neuroscience and psychological studies relating to creativity to help us better understand what creativity can mean to you personally. We will examine how being more intentionally creative will support your core health across your life and especially in your senior years. This class is designed to inform, entertain, and inspire.
Bio: Deborah Butler, Ph.D. is a retired professor from Georgia State University. She taught Leadership Management in The Robinson College of Business. While on the faculty she directed two Executive Roundtables and she still continues to direct the GSU HR Executive Roundtable. She also continues to teach in Europe once a year where she has been responsible for 2 courses in the EMBA program of Poznan University of Economics since 2005. She enjoys learning and she experiences learning with others as a joyful and creative experience. Since retirement, she has created and delivered two courses focused on the joy of learning with other seniors.
