Course Description

Instructor: Robert Pawlicki

Habits are at the heart of our well-being and happiness. Yet all of us have habits that are neither useful nor healthy—and most of us have struggled at one time or another to establish a good habit or break a stubborn one.

Why are habits so difficult to change? And, more importantly, what actually works?

Drawing on new research, recent books on the science of behavior change, and decades of clinical psychotherapy experience, Dr. Robert Pawlicki will explore practical strategies for gaining greater control over the habits that shape our lives. We’ll examine why we repeatedly fall back into old patterns, why willpower alone often fails, and how small changes in our thinking, environment, and daily routines can produce surprisingly powerful results.

The goal is not perfection. It is to discover realistic, practical ways to reduce habits that work against us and replace them with healthier, more rewarding alternatives—perhaps even a few that will make you smile.
