Course Description

Instructor: John Brown

It’s an election year, and the landscape of political influence continues to evolve. While industries like tobacco and oil once dominated policy conversations, technology leaders and major investors now play an increasingly visible role.

In this session, we will explore the rise of tech-driven political influence, examining where it comes from, how it operates, and what it may mean for public policy and everyday life. The discussion will include perspectives on recent election cycles, including 2016, 2022, and 2024, and encourage thoughtful conversation around the changing dynamics of modern politics.
