Course Description

Go with OLLI: Atlanta Federal Reserve Museum Tour & Midtown Lunch
We are excited to offer a special outing for OLLI at Emory members on April 9 at 10:00 AM with a guided tour of the Atlanta Federal Reserve Museum. This engaging visit will provide insight into the role of the Federal Reserve, the U.S. economy, and the history of money. We will meet at the Chamblee MARTA Station at 9:20 AM and travel together by train, as the museum is located directly across the street and does not offer parking. OLLI staff will be joining us, including a team member who rides MARTA daily and will help guide us through the process.

Please note that MARTA is currently updating its payment system, and we will share details on purchasing tickets closer to the event date. Following the tour, we will walk to nearby Hudson Grille Midtown, where we have reserved space to enjoy lunch together. (everyone orders on their own)

After lunch, we will return as a group via MARTA. This is more than just a tour—it’s an OLLI adventure filled with learning, connection, and a little exploration along the way. Space is limited to 38 participants, and this is a difficult tour to secure, so please only register if you plan to attend—we were fortunate to get this opportunity!

We hope this tour fills quickly as we have to provide names to the Federal Reserve of who is attending.

Exact meeting times and travel fare will be shared closer to the date.  Typically it is $2.50 each way.
