This session begins with a 15-minute introduction that places Bingham’s work within a broad historical and artistic context, helping you understand the cultural forces that shaped his vision and why his paintings continue to resonate today.

We will then enjoy a one-hour Emmy Award–winning docudrama, The American Artist (2018), an engaging and beautifully produced film that brings Bingham’s world to life. Through powerful storytelling, it explores his artistic journey, his political involvement, and the enduring significance of his portraits and frontier scenes.

BIO: Howard has 35 years of experience in the music industry. He taught music at the American School in Rio De Janeiro, managed the Rizzoli International Music company, and was owner of an International Records and Music company.
