3586 - Learning to Be an OLLI Facilitator (Stephanie Tarpley)
Course Description
Instructor: Stephanie Tarpley
Facilitators are the behind-the-scenes heroes who help OLLI classes run smoothly and keep our community connected—especially in today’s HyFlex environment. This interactive session introduces the essentials of being a class facilitator, from greeting members and assisting instructors to managing the small but important details that keep things running smoothly.
Most of the time, it’s as simple as making sure online participants are muted or helping an instructor get started. You don’t have to be a tech genius—just willing to learn and lend a helping hand. In return, you’ll earn a free class and the satisfaction of knowing you’re helping OLLI continue to thrive. Whether you’re brand new to volunteering or a seasoned helper looking to refresh your skills, this presentation will give you the confidence and know-how to make a difference in every class you support.
