Course Description
Instructor: Robert Drake and additional speakers
Make Up is one of the most intense ways people communicate. It's also among the most complex. From declarations of major change, to partner signaling, to identifying with heritage, people use make up to communicate. We will break down this signaling, what it means, and how to it came about. From film make up, to Mabeline, we'll survey the world of make-up and what it says about the people who wear it.
Robert Drake is a long time OLLI instructor and Artistic Director of the Academy Theatre. He also produces improv comedy, radio theatre, and occasionally works as a journalist.
