Tour Start Time: 10:00 AM
Estimated Tour Duration: 1½ to 2 hours, plus lunch at The Varsity

Join us for an inspiring and educational journey through Atlanta’s most significant Civil Rights landmarks on our Martin Luther King Jr. Heritage Tour.

We begin at Ebenezer Baptist Church, where Dr. King was baptized and later co-pastored with his father. Step into the historic 1960s sanctuary and experience a guided presentation by a National Park Ranger, enhanced with recorded sermons from Dr. King himself.

Our next stop is The Martin Luther King Jr. Center for Nonviolent Social Change (The King Center). After a brief orientation film, you’ll have time to explore powerful exhibits on the American Civil Rights Movement and Dr. King's enduring global legacy.

The tour continues with a walking visit to the King Birth Home, offering a glimpse into his formative years, and the International Civil Rights Walk of Fame, honoring the leaders whose efforts helped shape our nation’s history.

Time permitting, we will also visit Freedom Hall, featuring personal artifacts, writings, and international tributes to peace.

Following the tour (approximately 1½ to 2 hours), we’ll board the bus for a stop at the iconic Varsity Restaurant for lunch on your own, where you can enjoy classic Atlanta fare in a lively, nostalgic setting.

After lunch, we’ll return to the Embassy Suites hotel, reflecting on a meaningful day honoring the life, legacy, and vision of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
