3411 - Poets at "Home" (Jim Mengert)
Course Description
Instructor: Jim Mengert
Dorothy was right: "There's no place like home," variously experienced. As we age, the idea of house and home takes on greater resonance, either as a repository of memories or a place we have left or may soon leave for a safer or smaller place. Many poets have taken up this central subject. We'll look at what they've written and perhaps share some of our own experiences of house and home.
