Course Description

The Robert C. Williams Museum of Papermaking, located in Atlanta, Georgia, is a museum dedicated to the history, technology, and art of papermaking. Named in honor of Robert C. Williams, a prominent figure in the field, the museum is part of the Georgia Institute of Technology.

Tour: November 1, 2024, 11AM - 12:30PM

Join OLLI at Emory members on a docent tour of the museum featuring a range of exhibits on the papermaking process, from ancient techniques to modern innovations. It includes a collection of historical and contemporary paper artifacts, tools, and machinery. This is a unique experience to learn about the science of paper, its cultural significance, and its role in communication and art.

Includes an opportunity for attendees, to create a piece of paper.
