Course Description

Are the Gnostic Gospels censored materials, containing secrets removed from the Christian bible? Or are they alternative views of the "Jesus movement" which grew following the accounts of the resurrection?  In this course we will explore the Gnostic Gospels and consider their differences from the notable "Four Gospels" of the Christian text as well as consider their distinctions from the traditional formations of the Christian religion.  

Bio: Beth is a seasoned educator and public speaker. Holding adjunct faculty positions in Southern California, she has also been a television and radio guest at various points of international inflections when global events. Her education spans religion, politics, and national security, with M.A. in Theology from University of Notre Dame and M.A. in International Diplomacy w/specialization in transnational terrorism from Norwich University. Additionally, Beth earned certifications as a medication educator and Ayurvedic medicine and health educator which has led to helping those who want to learn stress management skills or pain management tools.
