Course Description

Instructor: Susan Soper

Stretch your skills by tackling a variety of assignments: fiction, nonfiction, reporting, memoir, profile, interviewing, a nature piece and more. Assignments will be given weekly to be read in class the following week. Deadlines and word count are in play! 

 

Bio: Susan has had a lifetime career as a writer and editor -- Newsday (NY), CNN, AJC -- and has taught obituary and memoir classes for almost a decade at Olli. She created the ObitKit (www.obitkit) and has helped many with their life stories.
