Course Description

Instructor: Nutan Ahuja

Ikebana, is an ancient Japanese art of flower arranging, guided by the desire to create harmony between flowers and their surroundings.
More than merely decoration, the Ikebana way of flower arranging encourages to fully express by infusing each arrangement with a sense of space, motion, season, rhythm and emotion. 


Students need to bring a tall vase (approx. 8-12 inch tall), Shears and any fresh leaves with 2-3 stems .Fresh Flowers will be provided.

 

Bio: Nutan Ahuja, a former Professor of Biomedical engineering, has been a Reiki, wellness and energy healing practitioner and instructor for more than 15 years. She has also been certified in Ikebana, a Japanese healing art of flower arrangements from Sogetsu school in Tokyo, JP. In her practice, she combines her unique scientific perspective with her expertise in various philosophies of spiritual wellness to foster positivity and holistic healing of the body, mind and heart in an evidence-based manner.
