Course Description

Instructor: Allan Hing, MA

The class will update and expand topics presented in the past such as the Value of Good Design, the present such as a 100th anniversary of the Bauhaus and introduce new topics such as Kenzo Kuma –architect of the Tokyo 2020 Stadium and Expo 2020.“humanism.” We will read texts by the artist and by literary mentors such as the Surrealist leader Andre Breton and the Existentialist Jean-Paul Sartre that illuminate Giacometti’s art.
